A typical representative of this product group from the foundry is the eccentric casting, which is produced in various sizes and serves as one of the key components of the weaving machine. The casting is specific due to its requirements for material quality and flatness. Other representatives include castings for housings, which are part of the machine's drive unit. The last component is the technologically demanding cylinder casting, which is the main part of the drive unit. The cylinder is challenging both in terms of foundry technology (high demand for internal material homogeneity and cleanliness) and machining (one-quarter of the surface is geared, and the remaining part is machined with an eccentric groove around two-thirds of its wall).
